A welcoming and supportive school in Chippenham is urgently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from Monday. This is a fantastic opportunity  for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and available for an immediate start in Chippenham.
 
As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Chippenham, you will support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, learning difficulties, and communication challenges. You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider SEN team in Chippenham to help pupils engage  with learning and reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
     
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Encouraging independence, communication, and social development
  • Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
